description
PIECE HOLZSPALTER
The invention relates to a firewood splitter for inserted into a tub of firewood with the features of the preamble of claim 1.
Stückholzspalter this type for producing fissured wood in dimensions, which is intended for use in household furnaces are provided with a gap in which the cut wood is introduced and pressed with a plunger by the blades of a fixed cutting and the Spaltgut with a Sponsor is discharged.
If in a splitting process the piece of wood only partially split to limit the cost of the cutting and the provision of the necessary splitting force, then the non-crushed part of the piece of wood is stored during the splitting process on a separate tray and with a separate device brought back from there to the starting position, whereupon the split wood is ejected from the cutting unit.
A wood splitter for fissure wood for household furnaces should split evenly with the lowest possible splitting force, reliably eject the split wood, have a compact design and be easy to use and less susceptible to interference.
This object is achieved in a firewood splitter according to the preamble of claim 1 with the features of the characterizing part of claim 1.
The dependent claims relate to particularly advantageous embodiments of the invention and form as well as claim 1 at the same time a descriptive part of the invention.
An inventive firewood splitter is provided in a known manner with an insert tray for the piece of wood, with a centrally recessed bottom, the recess most conveniently having a flat V-shaped form.
The insert tray is closed at the back, which faces away from the cutting unit, with a support wall, which is fixedly mounted together with the insert tray.
An opposing cutting mechanism, the cutting knife has a shape adapted to the shape of the soil and thus results in a uniformly large separation distance, lying height above the ground, is provided with downwardly welded splitting blades whose cutting relative to the cutting edge of the Disconnecting knife are progressively reset, whereby the splitting process requires less force and is introduced uniformly.
The cutting unit is movable against the piece of wood with the splitting force of hydraulic power cylinders, which is initiated after closing the cover.
The cutting knife has a blade with a surface which forms a support for the non-separated part of the piece of wood during the splitting process, in the gap position.
In rest position, the blade is substantially behind a Abstreifwand, while the non-split part of the piece of wood stripped again comes to rest on the bottom of the insert tray. It is thus the compact design of the machine possible and the mechanical means for crushing are limited to a simple and less prone to failure construction.
Below the cutting a discharge conveyor for the split wood is arranged, which is provided laterally with guide surfaces for the machined piece of wood.
Thus, the return of the non-split part of the piece of wood facilitates and can happen faster, the insert tray with the support wall and the cutting with the Abstreifwand at an angle of about 10 to 30 degrees and very low of 15 degrees, against the horizontal Insert tray tilted downwards.
For the uniform, safe displacement of the cutting mechanism under the considerable splitting force, this is displaceably guided in the region of the separating knife on both sides in guide rails which are open to the side walls of the insert tray.
Thus, the space is covered laterally next to the cutting mechanism against the ingress of zerspantem wood parts, guide plates are mounted on both sides of the cutting mechanism, which slide when splitting behind the side walls of the loading tray.
The downwardly splitting blades are welded to the blades, especially in the splitting direction approximately at right angles to the blade of the cutting blade on this.
Down and behind the blades end the splitting blade free and are arranged substantially parallel to each other, so that the pushing through and exit of the fissile wood can be done largely stagnant and energy-saving.
By covering the blades of the splitting blade down to an adjacent cover plate, which is mechanically connected to the cutting, the leadership of the split piece of wood during the splitting process is present in a nip position and secured the delivery from the cutting unit to the discharge conveyor.
For the necessary entrainment the cover plate is attached to the side, both sides guided down brackets and stored to avoid interference from the accumulation of fissure wood on springs down.
The cutting blade of the cutting mechanism enters with the cutting edge at the end of the gap position in a matching gap in the support wall of the insert tray, as well as the cover enters a gap under the support wall at the bottom of the insert tray, bringing a complete and clean splitting of the piece of wood is ensured.
The preparation of the nip force for the cutting unit is uniform with arranged on both sides of hydraulic cylinders, which are fed by a hydraulic pump arranged in the machine.
An embodiment of the invention is described below.
FIG. 1 shows a piece splitter in side view, schematically; FIG. Fig. 2 shows the firewood splitter of Figure 1, in the central longitudinal section, schematically. Fig. 3 shows a cross section according to B-B of the log splitter according to Fig. 1, schematically; Fig. 4 shows the firewood splitter of Figure 1, in plan view, schematically. In side view of the firewood splitter for the treatment of short cut piece of wood for household furnaces, the inclined arrangement can be seen in Figure 1, with a discharge conveyor 7 is arranged to the right upward and is provided at the visible upper end with a drive.
The machine frame 21 is equipped with a cover 22 and at the non-visible loading opening a protective cover 23 is shown in the open position.
The central longitudinal section in Fig. 2 shows the internal structure of the firewood splitter.
An insert tray 1 is mounted inclined in the longitudinal direction to the right above, with an inclined to the machine center bottom 2 to connect the side walls 11 and above the open protective cover 23 is shown.
At the lower back of the insert tray 1 is closed with a right angle to the bottom 2 arranged support wall 3, against which the inserted piece of wood is pressed during the splitting process.
Right obliquely above the cutting unit 4 is arranged inclined downwards, with a cutting knife 5, the cutting edge is adapted to the profile of the bottom 2 of the insert tray 1 and at a predetermined distance of the gap thickness is above the ground and with the blade 8 in Resting position almost completely behind one, mounted at right angles to the bottom 2 of the insert tray 1 Abstreifwand 10, whose width is used in gap position of the separating knife 5 as a support for the uncleaved part of the piece of wood from which this strip on return of the cutting unit 4 in the rest position down becomes.
The cutting unit 4 is moved with both sides mounted hydraulic power cylinders 20 in the gap and in rest position.
On the cutting blade 5 are welded down to desired cleavage widths splitting blade 6, which extend approximately at right angles to the blade 8 and the blades 15 are parallel to each other and down and behind free.
The cutting edges of the splitting blades 6 are each set back in the cleaving direction and to the severing blade 5 in order to keep the splitting force peaks smaller.
Under the insert tray 1 and the cutting unit 4 cover plates of a discharge guide 14 are mounted, which direct the slit on the obliquely upward discharge conveyor 7 rer.
Fig. 3 shows a cross section according to A in Fig. 2, with a view of the cutting unit 4, the machine frame 21, a part of the discharge conveyor 7 and a part of the cover 22nd
Over the opening for loading the protective cover 23 is opened.
Before the stripping wall 10, the cutting unit 4 is shown with the overhead separating knife 5 and five down-reaching splitting knives 6.
The separating blade 5 with a flat V-shape has laterally planar ends which are displaceable in guide rails 12, at which attach downward connections for the coupling with the ends of the hydraulic power cylinder 20.
Guide plates 13 are fastened inwardly to the separating knife 5 and slide behind the side walls of the inserting tray 1 during the splitting operation.
At from the cutting blade 5 on both sides guided down brackets 17 is a Ab-cover plate 16 is mounted on compression springs 18 which rests directly on the blades 15 of the splitting blade 6.
Below the cutting unit 4, in which the slit is ejected between the slitting knives 6 in the subsequent splitting operation, a discharge guide 14 is mounted, with which the discharge is directed to the discharge conveyor 7.
In the plan view of FIG. 4 on the firewood splitter open tray 23 is seen with open protective cover 23 whose bottom 2 is bounded by the support wall 3, at which a gap 19 is incorporated for the cutting blade 5 and at the bottom End is a gap 19 for the cover plate 16 of the splitting blade 6 is arranged.
The cutting blade 5 of the cutting unit 4 protrudes from the stripping wall 10 opposite and the staggered traces of the downward splitting blades are shown.
The machine frame 21 is shown with the upper cover 22 and the discharge conveyor 7 protrudes laterally out of this.
In the oblique view of FIG. 5, the machine frame 21 with the cover 22 and with the protective cover 23 open, the insert tray 1 with the bottom 2 and a side wall 11, and the cutting unit 4 with the separating knife 5, and the stripping wall 10, and the outer part of the discharge conveyor 7 shown.
